For the determination of sulfate-reducing bacteria. This tube test is the right choice if you want to detect anaerobic bacteria and microbiologically caused corrosion. The agar is a semi-solid medium for the analysis of anaerobic microorganisms that can reduce sulphates to sulphite.

  • Straw coloured medium reacts to the formation of hydrogen sulphide by bacteria
